Introduction:

This post provides an overview of the changes to opening hours and services at the English Faculty Library during Trinity Term, 2021. For Bodleian Libraries service updates please visit https://www.bodleian.ox.ac.uk/service-updates.

Onsite Services:

• Additional reading room sessions have been made available on Saturdays and in the evenings, Monday to Thursday.
• The window for collecting books requested via Click and Collect has also been increased, with collections available on Saturdays.
• Browse and Borrow will continue Monday to Friday, with additional slots available on Saturdays.

Please note that the services listed require an advanced booking. For Click and Collect collections please follow the link provided in your hold request confirmation email. For Browse and Borrow and reading room sessions readers are required to make an appointment via the Bodleian Libraries Spacefinder tool.

Due Dates:

• All Bodleian Libraries loans that are not already overdue have been extended until 01/06/2021.

Loan Returns:

• English Faculty Library loans can be returned in-person during opening hours without the need for a booking. For those unable to return their books in-person, a variety of loan return options are available. Please visit https://www.bodleian.ox.ac.uk/services/borrow/return-loans

Remote Services:

• Scan and Deliver will continue. More information is available at https://www.bodleian.ox.ac.uk/services/remote-access/scan-deliver
• Print and Deliver for electronic Legal Deposit material will also continue. More information is available at https://libguides.bodleian.ox.ac.uk/eld-explained/print
• The Emergency Temporary Access Service provided by the HathiTrust is currently still available, although not guaranteed for all of Trinity Term.
