New resource – Arcadian Library Online: Europe and the Ottoman World

We now have access to the online collection Europe and the Ottoman World: Diplomacy and International Relations, which is part of the Arcadian Library Online.

Europe and the Ottoman World explores the complex and evolving interactions between the Ottoman Empire and Europe over the course of six hundred years’ of history from 1475 to 1877. Comprising 35,500 facsimile images including correspondence, treaties, travel accounts and printed books of exceptional chronological and geographic scope, the collection is an important resource for the study of the Ottoman Empire. It can be searched as part of the Arcadian Library Online alongside the History of Science and Medicine collection, which we already held.
