New History books in the Bodleian (week 26 September)

This week’s new receipts of 30 new books on British and Western European history  have now been added to LibraryThing.

Books on medieval kingship, medieval Spain, more Tudors (Mary Boleyn not Anne this week!), Jewish history and Holocaust, then mostly early modern and modern British history with a little Spanish, Italian and German history. Finally, Oxford’ s very own Matthew Kempshall has published his book on Rhetoric and the Writing of History, 400-1500 (MUP, 2011).
