Latest unconfirmed CoLP minutes available online for Oxford University members

The unconfirmed minutes from the History Committee on Library Provision meeting that took place on Tuesday 14th February 2012 are now available online via WebLearn.  Access to WebLearn is only available to Oxford University members with a Single Sign On.  A print copy is available on the History Faculty Library noticeboard.

The main topic of the meeting was the proposed move of the History Faculty Library, with discussions on the funding for the move, the consultation process, the proposal and reports from the student representatives.  The CoLP concluded with recommendations for the proposals:

The CoLP agreed to endorse the proposal subject to the following conditions: HFL collection would remain in the proposed location for up to 5-7 years; recurrent savings and some of the OMS funds would be ring-fenced to the benefit of History; security would be reviewed; gold dots on the books would continue to be used to help readers identify the lending stock.
