Here are latest updates on access to the libraries and collections during the summer. For more information about the HFL’s move, please visit our website. If you have any queries, please contact library staff.
- We intend to maintain normal access to the History Faculty Library up to 27 July and to the Bodleian Library throughout this period. However, there may be some disruption and noise disturbance in particular areas for limited periods. We will post additional details as dates become fixed.
- During Trinity Term, only preparatory moves of HFL material will be carried out and readers should not be affected by them.
- We anticipate the HFL move to the RadCam to start on 30 July. The HFL will probably close completely from 6 August (subject to change). However, Readers can return books to the HFL right up to 17 August. Thereafter, readers are asked to return books to the Lower Camera, Radcliffe Camera.
- At this stage of planning, we expect that it may be necessary to close the Radcliffe Camera during parts of August and September to ensure that all work is completed before Michaelmas Term.
