New History books in the Bodleian (week 4 June)

67 books were received in the Bodleian Library last week and their details have now been added to LibraryThing.

As usual,  it is a very mixed bag of books with covering all periods and most Western European countries.

  • medieval history (Conrad III, crusading, Cologne, libraries, etc.)
  • early modern history (households, Netherlands, Enlightenment in Russia, Louis XIV, etc.)
  • modern history (colonial Africa, WWI & WWII military history, Tory Party, Spanish Civil War, etc.)
  • post-1945 history (German politics and 1989 Unification)
  • history of science & medicine (Cholera, astronomy, mathematics)

Check these out by using the browse and tag features in LibraryThing to see what is there.
