Mon-Fri 9:00-22:00
Saturday 10:00-16:00
Sunday 11:00-17:00 (including 24 April)
We look forward to seeing you again and wish you well with your studies and your exams. Please remember to bring your vacation books back by Monday 25 April – your fellow-students need them!
The library will be closed over the Easter weekend from Friday 25 March to Monday 28 March inclusive and will reopen on at 9:00am on Tuesday 29 March.

From Monday 07 March you may start checking books out for the vacation!
You can borrow up to 15 books but from Thursday 10 March the limit goes up to 20. Please return or renew your current loans loans by Wednesday 09 March and remember to pay your fines.
Vac loans must be returned by Monday of first week in Trinity Term (25 April). Please don’t leave them at home!
This is to remind everyone who had books out over the vacation to return or renew them by Monday 12 October. Thank you!

Welcome back all of you who have books out! The term limit has reverted to a maximum of 15 items. If you have more out than that and you want to take out additional items you will need to bring some back.
From now on Undergraduates can check out books out for 7 days and Research Graduates 28 days.
Current loans are due on Monday 12 October. Please bring them back on time!
Just to get you all in the summery mood vacation loans begin on Monday 15 June. All term loans must be returned or renewed by Wednesday 17June.
If you are a finalist or visiting student please return all your books before you leave Oxford. It’s been a pleasure having you and we wish you all the best for the future!

As you might be wondering when you can start taking out books for the Christmas holidays you will be able to do so for up to 15 items from Monday 1st December

Welcome to all freshers and returning students! We hope you enjoyed your summer holidays. Now that Michaelmas Term is about to start in earnest here is a reminder of your borrowing rights for the next 8 weeks:
Please remember to return your vacation loans by Monday 13 October! Other students will want them.
Sunday opening starts on 12 October (11am-5pm) and from Monday 13th October weekday hours will be 9am-10pm. Saturday hours are unchanged at 10am-4pm
