  1. Hi Lina,

thank you for your enquiry. Our subscription resources, which include Country Life Archive, are unfortunately only remotely accessible to current Oxford University staff and students, not external readers. You would get access if to you came to Oxford, registered as a reader and did the search in one of reading rooms. You are more than welcome to do so and information how to register as a reader is available at https://www.bodleian.ox.ac.uk/using/getting-a-reader-card, but it is an awfully long way for you to come. If you haven’t already done so, I would suggest you contact the National Library of Australia (https://www.nla.gov.au/askalibrarian). The one related website which does seem to be freely available is the Country Life Picture Library at http://www.countrylifeimages.co.uk/. You would have to pay for the images themselves but I think you can do the searching for free. To the best of my knowledge, there is no option to personally subscribe to ProQuest’s Country Life Archive (https://www.proquest.com/products-services/Country-Life-Archive.html) though you could try asking.

Sorry I can’t be of any further help.
