Term time opening hours resume this Sunday 15th January 11am until 5pm. From Monday 16th January we will be open:
Monday – Friday, 9am – 10pm
Saturday 10am – 4pm
Sunday 11am – 5pm

We have been informed of a fault relating to emergency lighting in the Radcliffe Camera and Gladstone Link and have had to adjust access to reading rooms and facilities as follows.
The Gladstone Link will close at 5pm.
We apologise for the temporary inconvenience and are working hard to restore full access as soon as possible.
The Upper Camera will be closed from 9am-1pm on Friday 26th & Wednesday 31st August for the removal and delivery of PCAS machines.
The reading room will open as soon as machines have been removed/delivered, by 1pm latest. Please speak to library staff if you require a book during this time.
All reading rooms in the Bodleian Library and Radcliffe Camera (including the Gladstone Link) will be closed from Saturday 27 August to Monday 29 August 2016 inclusive.
Why not use our collections remotely instead? Access all our online collections using your SSO (single sign on).

Readers are reminded that on the day of Encaenia, which takes place on Wednesday 22nd June 2016, the Central Bodleian site will be subject to reduced opening hours. Encaenia is the ceremony at which the University of Oxford awards honorary degrees to distinguished men and women and commemorates its benefactors. It is held annually on the Wednesday of ninth week during Trinity Term.
On 22nd June the Central Bodleian site will be open as follows:
