WISER: Information Sources for History of Science and Medicine, Friday 13th June 2008 (week 8), 12.30 – 1.30, OUCS, Banbury Road.
This session will introduce key information sources for the study of the history of science and medicine. Starting with useful finding tools (catalogues, bibliographical aids, search engines), examples of source materials will then be outlined. The emphasis will be on collections held in Oxford (esp. Bodleian, RSL, Library of Wellcome Unit for the History of Medicine and college libraries) and on online resources.
