Symposium on International Law and Justice

By | 14 November 2008

The Council on Foreign Relations, a nonpartisan and independent membership organization based in the US, has the goal of being “the single best website for …. searching for information and insights about international politics.” As a result, it is both a generous sharer of all its own material in various formats free online, and an active portal builder for worldwide links.  For anyone interested in public international law, it could be a useful source of background reading and food for thought.

Its own publications cross a variety of formatsCFR Publications

– you need to scroll down the publications page to find them all –  and  it offers a variety of  Web2.0 ways to be kept updated when new material is added.

The Symposium mentioned in the title of this post is a newly posted resource, presented in the form of 3 videos, one for each of the sessions: International Obligations towards Victims of Mass Atrocities, US Engagement in the International Legal System and The Darfur Case

As this Symposium was financed by the Jolie-Pitt Foundation there is an added bonus to viewing!
