What are Lawtel Lessons?

Lawtel Lessons are online WebEx hosted training sessions conducted over the telephone while you watch the demonstration online. The lessons are designed to cover a broad scope of topics to ensure you get the best out of Lawtel.

You can access Lawtel Lessons from anywhere you have internet access and a telephone line.

Registration

Student Lawtel Lessons are split into three categories: ‘The Basics’, Lawtel EU and Lawtel Personal Injury. You can attend as many of these lessons as you wish but need to register to be able to attend. You can do this online any time up to five minutes beforehand.

The Lawtel Basics lesson covers:

• How to search and browse cases, legislation and current awareness
• Hints and tips for using Lawtel

Lawtel EU and Lawtel Personal Injury lessons go into more depth, providing specific hints and tips on how to use particular practice tools and functionality.

Please note that the Law Library does not have a subscription to Lawtel EU – you are welcome to attend the Lawtel EU class (if you think it would be useful for you in the future).   However, you will not be able to access Lawtel EU as a member of Oxford University.   You will be able to use the services covered in “the basics” and Lawtel Personal Injury classes.
