Guardian Law Page

By | 12 July 2010

With The Times deciding to charge for online access, including its well read Law Section,  it is quite timely that The Guardian newspaper has created a new law page which looks at legal affairs and developments from around the world.  Launched earlier this year the page can be accessed at http://www.guardian.co.uk/law or the link is prominent from The Guardian home page.   The page contains the latest law news, Twitter and del.ici.ous links on the right, with the main stories dominating the middle of the page.  There is also a link through to the Guardian Legal Network which brings together in one place a number of external legal blogs and sites.

The BabyBarista blog, which used to be included on The Times website is now hosted on The Guardian pages and Afua Hirsch also has her own blog.  The Guardian page is not the only UK newspaper site that has free dedicated legal news pages.   The Telegraph has its own law section but this does not seem to have the same functionality of The Guardian’s new page.
