Important information about ASR in July 2011

By | 3 June 2011

Most legal materials are available on open shelf in the Law Library so access will not be affected.
However, some research students find that there are titles of interest in the Bodleian Book Stacks, and have used the  Automated Stack Request (ASR) function on OLIS to order them to the LawBod’s Reading Room. This is the service that will be affected over the summer.

There will be no ordering from closed stacks from Friday 8th till Monday 18th July 2011
Readers planning to use the Bodleian Libraries during this period in July should check the catalogue in advance to see if  any of the titles they are hoping to consult are in Stacks –  and,  if so, to order  them to the LawBod (or their choice of Reading Room) by Friday 1 July at the latest.

This disruption is because we are  implementing a new Integrated Library System which will provide enhanced catalogue, circulation and acquisitions functionality for users and staff.

We acknowledge this may be inconvenient for some readers and apologize in advance.
