Newly installed, and cunningly disguised by OU’s ICT Support Team to look like a rather cool standard lamp, is a new relay point, designed to improve wireless coverage in a constantly inhabited (well at least during Full Term!) corner of the Library.
Mark Round is the innovator behind the lamp/wifi point, and Rob Jones the installer – a nifty way to get new technology into a heritage protected building.
