The LawBod has strengthened its online African resources – as well as renewing subscriptions we have added a Nigerian database.
What’s new?
A database called Electronic Law Companion from the Nigerian legal publisher Funmi Quadri & Co.
Current OU students and faculty wishing to use it will have to pick up a special username and password from the dedicated Weblearn site (where it is listed under Funmi) even when within the OU network. (You have to know your Oxford Single Sign On to get in to the Weblearn site.)
This service has Nigerian Supreme Court Quarterly Law Reports 2000 onwards.
Old friends
LawAfrica Law Reports. This database has East Africa Protectorate Law Reports, East Africa Law Reports, Southern Sudan Law Reports and Journal,Tanzania Law Reports, Uganda Law Reports, Zanzibar Protectorate Law Reports. As with Funmi, OU members need a special username and password which they can collect via the Weblearn site mentioned above.
