We welcomed our new trainees to our libraries this week with a welcome session and a tour of the Bodleian and drinks in the Divinity School. We have 17 trainees this year, 11 in the Bodleian, 5 in the colleges and 1 Digital Archives trainee. Lady Margaret Hall has recruited a trainee for the first time this year. Laura How, Head of Administration and Finance, welcomed all the trainees to the libraries at the drinks reception in the Divinity School. The trainees have a busy few weeks ahead of them with lots of training to get them up to speed ready for the start of Michaelmas Term. They are currently learning to use OLIS our library management system and have had customer care training.
