Are you finding the best articles, conference papers, books and theses to support your research?

Are you confident that you are finding the best articles, conference papers, books and theses to support your research?    Are you relying too heavily on  Google?

Bodleian Libraires will be running our popular workshop,  WISER: Finding stuff – scholarly literature for your research  on Friday 14 February 10.00 – 1.00.    This is a packed workshop in which we explore a wide range of scholarly databases which will help you to discover the best research materials including not only articles and books but also conference papers, theses and dissertations.  The workshop includes plenty of opportunitities for hands on practice during which time you will be able to collect papers for your own research.

Please be sure to book your place online.

Thanks for this notification. I’m a part time, distance learning graduate and won’t be in Oxford that day. I think those of us in this category would be better served if you made available (i) a transcript of the talk and (ii) an online video or webinar of the activity. More broadly, you might think about how better to help part time and distance learners. For the most part the Bod gives me a good service via SOLO. Thanks.
