Are you learning a language as part of your degree or for work or pleasure? If so, then why not come along to WISER: Learning a Language to find out about resources to help you in your language studies.
This session which will be run by Lucile Deslignères, the Librarian at the Oxford University Languages Centre, who will introduce key language resources and show you how to use the language you are learning in your web searches. The session will cover: using resources offered by Oxford University and from referential sites, tools for non-latin writing systems and searching using non-English search engines.
“WISER: Learning a Language” will take place on Thursday 24 February 11.00-12.15pm at the Computing Service at 13 Banbury Road and is open to all members of Oxford University and Bodleian Libraries’ readers. Current members of Oxford University should book their place online. Other Bodleian readers may book by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org quoting their Bodleian Library card number.
