Discovering and depositing research data in Social Sciences

Calling all researchers looking for statistical data (or creating their own data) in the Social Sciences. This Friday Bodleian Libraries will be running a workshop looking at key data archives for tracking down statistical data to support your research and how to access and cite the data that you find.

In addition, we will talk about Oxford’s own data repository, ORA-Data where you can deposit any data that you generate as part of your own research.

The workshop will take place Friday 28 Ocotober 9.15-12.15 at IT Services, 13 Banbury Road. Please be sure to book your place online.

Get managing your data off to a good start with MANTRA

MANTRA is an acclaimed online independent learning course which provides guidelines for good practice in research data management. We are running a workshop to introduce MANTRA and to look at how research data management forms an integral part of the research process. You will also have the opportunity to begin the online course. Aimed at postgraduates and researchers, this session will be particularly useful for DPhil students and early career researchers who are starting a research project.
