The Centre can provide access to enhanced training in quantitative methods for undergraduates across the Social Sciences Division.
The Q-Step Centre Teaching Lab
Our West Graduate Study Room in the library has been converted into the Q-Step Centre Teaching Lab. This is located to the left of the Library IT Training Room (follow the red signs in the Library)
Teaching for Q-Step begins in HT 2015. Outside of teaching hours (1pm to 6.15pm on every week day of the term, Weeks 1 to 8) Social Science graduate students may use the room.
Changes to our Central and East Graduate Study Rooms
The thin clients and printer/photocopier have been moved to the Central Graduate Study Room. It is designated a ‘Quiet Discussion Room’ for Social Science graduate students.
The East Graduate Study room will remain a quiet room for Social Science graduate students, and has been refurbished in line with SSL Graduate users’ feedback for more self-contained work spaces.
