Do you have a great idea for a digital project which would benefit staff or students at Oxford?
University of Oxford IT Services are looking for digital projects that can improve student life in general, but they are particularly interested in projects that can Widen Access to Oxford – especially for students from a non-traditional Oxbridge background. They are also looking for projects that can improve the way that students receive constructive feedback, as well as useful information from their department.
Please register at the “Oxford Ideas” website and post your ideas for others to contribute to, and maybe your idea will become a project that is funded. The site will close at midnight on 14 February for submissions, then some ideas will be selected to go to the next stage. If successful the work on the project will be done over the 2015 summer vacation. Projects can be of any size starting from a few hundred pounds upwards but the maximum amount of funding per project is £20,000.
