The Bodleian Libraries are now offering a return of loans by post service in partnership with Royal Mail. We understand that it may be difficult or impossible to physically return your borrowed items to the proper library in Oxford, thus the Bodleian Libraries return by post service will cover shipping costs to facilitate returning all loaned books.

Using the form available here you will be able to generate a mailing label to print at home or a QR code to take to a Royal Mail post office for printing as you return the books. 

You will need to provide an approximate weight of your books. Please use a personal scale or use the images provided to estimate the weight of your books for return.  Individual items weighing more than 20kg will need to be sent using an alternate method. Screenshots of the process are also provided showing what to expect in the form.
