There will be no access to the University’s Network in the Social Science Library on Monday 12th December. This is due to migrating the Bodleian Libraries to a Network back bone.
The down time is scheduled for:
During this time there will be no access to library PCs, quick search PCs, the Bodleian Wifi Network, the Eduroam Wifi Network and the PCAS service.

On 1st July, the Library’s 6 SunRay terminals will be replaced with “kiosk” PCs. As with the SunRays, these will not require a login, and will continue to provide easy access to the library’s catalogue and search tools. They are only equipped with a web browser which will permit access to all library-subscribed electronic resources, as well a limited set of popular email clients, including the Oxford Nexus Webmail App. Files can be downloaded to USB sticks, though saving to the desktop and hard disk of the PC is not possible, and it is also possible to print documents using the Library’s PCAS printing system.
