Extended Saturday hours, Trinity Term – help us assess!

We are trialling extended Saturday hours during Trinity Term (10am-4pm as opposed to 10am-2pm), and in order to help us assess whether to extend them on a permanent basis, we will be running a survey throughout the term. Survey forms will be left on desks throughout the library on Saturdays, and we’d really appreciate you taking a few minutes to answer the questions.

The aim of the survey is to find out who uses the library on Saturdays, what you use the library for, and gather your views and feedback about the extended hours.  We will also run the survey on a few weekdays throughout the term for comparison purposes.

You can also complete the survey online at any time, and we’re always happy to receive comments by email to vhl@bodleian.ox.ac.uk, on Twitter (@vhllib) or Facebook, in our comments book at the enquiry desk or in person.

Thanks very much for your help! We will publish the results once term has ended, and will use them to help us come to a decision about whether to extend Saturday hours year-round. The results of the survey will not be the only factor in that decision, but will ensure that we have a better picture of usage and demand to take into consideration.
