The lighting above the mezzanine area of the library will be replaced starting on 1st September. The mezzanine will be closed to readers throughout the duration of the work, which is expected to take two weeks. Access will be maintained to the upper floors, where there is plenty of alternative seating available. We hope that the work will not be too disruptive, but there is likely to be some noise at least while scaffolding is erected and then removed. Apologies therefore for any disturbance!
