You can now bring hot drinks into the library, as long as they are in a Bodleian KeepCup.
KeepCups have now been approved for use in many of the Bodleian Libraries, following a successful trial last year in the Social Science Library and the Education Library. You can buy your KeepCup at a discounted rate of £6 in some libraries, such as the Social Science Library and (soon) the Radcliffe Science Library, or for £10 from the Bodleian Shops in the Weston Library, Old Schools Quadrangle or online.
From Monday 3rd October we will revert to our term time opening hours: Monday-Friday 9am-7pm, Saturday 10am-4pm.
Our new photocopier was installed last week, and as of this morning the updated PCAS service is up and running.
How do I log on to the new machine?
PCAS accounts are now linked to your Bodleian Libraries username (barcode) and password. You will need to link your card to your account the first time you log on to the new machine – touch your card to the card reader and then enter your barcode and password when prompted. If you don’t know what your password is, you can reset it at https://register.bodleian.ox.ac.uk.
What’s happened to my PCAS credit?
You can now transfer any credit you had on your old PCAS account over to your new one using the online portal at https://pcasportal.bodleian.ox.ac.uk. You will need to know both your old login details and your new ones. Note that you need to do this even if you had set your old PCAS username and password to be the same as your Bodleian Libraries account.
How do I add credit to my new account?
In just the same way as the old one! Go to https://bodleian.pcounterwebpay.com, log in with your account details (the new one!) and add funds using a credit or debit card.
