Bodleian Libraries iSkills programme is running a range of free workshops during January and February for history students. Online sources for Historians (Thursday 18th January 14:00-16:00, online via Teams)

A general online introduction to the vast range of electronic resources which are available for all historical periods of British and Western European history.

Discovering archives at the Bodleian Libraries (Thursday 25th January 15:00-16:00, classroom based at Weston Library Lecture Threatre)

A classroom-based session to introduce you to the key catalogues and finding aids for post-1500 archives and manuscripts at the Bodleian Libraries.

Newspapers and other online news sources from the 17th-21st centuries (Tuesday 6th February 10:00-11:30 online via Teams)

This session will introduce key online sources of news with the focus on historical and contemporary newspapers from the 17th century across most countries of the world.

Archives and modern papers for Social Sciences and History (Thursday 8th February 14:30-16:00, classroom based at Weston Library Horton Room)

The Bodleian Libraries Weston Library has a wealth of resources covering almost all aspects of modern British society and culture. This session will introduce key finding aids and get you started with the research skills needed to make the most of these resources.
