Fetching from inaccessible area in Bodleian Gladstone Link

Having difficulties getting hold of books in the Bodleian Gladstone Link? Here is the support you can draw on.

1. Books in M09, M10 and M11 that have been cordoned off:  If you need a book in that section, the Just-in-Time team will assist readers locating alternative copies of material made inaccessible due to the moves. They can be contacted directly on moves@bodleian.ox.ac.uk.

2. For books in the following sections:

  •  C.Acad
  • Dictionary of Literary Biography
  • Whitakers
  • 1773c. – 1392d.
  • M88-11 A, B and L sizes

the Bodleian Library is now operating a book fetching service for books in the following shelfmark ranges currently inaccessible in the Gladstone Link. Please submit your requests at the Lower Reserve in the Old Library.  Books will be fetched twice daily at 11.45 and 4.30 and will be held in the Lower Reserve for one week. This service will operate until 27th July and from 6th-17th August (when HFL books are to move in).

Reminder of the HFL closure

The HFL will beclosed from 6th August, books are moving to RadCam and GL 6-17 August and will then be available as reference-only, with lending to resume from 3 Sept. operating from the LCam Desk. Watch this space for further announcements.
