New History books in the Bodleian (week 4 March)

76 books were received in the Bodleian Library this week. Check out details in LibraryThing.

There is something for British history and histories of most European countries. There are quite a few Spanish, Italian and German titles:

  • medieval history (Anglo-Saxon England, medieval Ireland, Frederick II, crusades, medieval Cordoba)
  • early modern history (astrology in 15C Italy, Elizabethan gifts,  Calvin, Frederick the Great, etc.)
  • modern history (19C industrialisation, WWI, Syria 1920, Spanish Civil War & Franco,  Mussolini’s diary, Stalin)
  • post-1945 history (Algeria, African nationalism, Cold War)
  • history of medicine (India)

Check these out by using the browse and tag features in LibraryThing to see what is there.
