Prospective students can visit colleges, departments and libraries to find out more about what it’s like to study at Oxford.
THINKING OF READING HISTORY AT OXFORD? JOIN A LIBRARY TOUR…
Prospective History students can take a special tour of the Bodleian Library and the Bodleian History Faculty Library.
It is an opportunity to see the large scale of the collections available to students, the study spaces that they would be working in and meet some of the friendly library staff. The Bodleian Library central site houses the Bodleian’s collections of research and teaching material as well as the Bodleian History Faculty Library collection.
Library staff will be running tours for prospective students on the 29 and 30 June every half hour from 11.15-15.45 (i.e. 11.15, 11.45, 12.15 etc). Each tour group can have up to 12 people. The tours will meet at the Great Gate on Catte Street, at the entrance to the Old Bodleian Library.
