We don’t want your fines! But…

Coins…in the interests of all our readers we do want our books brought back on time. Vacation loans are due on Monday 22nd April.  Fines will be charged on  books brought back any later.

How to avoid giving the Library money:

a)      Don’t ignore the courtesy notice that will be emailed to you the day before the due date.

b)       You can keep track of your loans by regularly checking ‘My Account’ on SOLO. This will tell you when the books are due.

c)       Renew up to 15 books online before they go overdue. You can do this twice if need be – provided no one has placed any holds on any of them.

d)       Bring your books back by the due date if you haven’t renewed them online.

e)      If you think you have lost a book you have borrowed tell us immediately on our online form and we will waive any fines accrued from the date of notification.

If you follow these simple fine avoidance tactics we get our books back (to lend to others) and you get to keep your money! Everyone’s a winner!
