Two new databases in one week!    Our second new database this week is Carilaw. Carilaw brings together treaties, legislation and case law from the Caribbean.     Coverage varies between the different jurisdictions of the Caribbean but in general Privy Council, Court of Appeal and Supreme/High Court judgments are available.  Judgments from other courts are available for some jurisdictions.

Access to Carilaw is password controlled.   Please collect the password from Oxlip. (Note if you’re outside the Oxford network you will need to use the VPN to access the password information).    Once you are connected choose “Jurisdictional Searches” to browse Carilaw by jurisdiction and court or “Advanced search” to enter search terms or to search across jurisdictions.

Please let us know how you get on with Carilaw, either by e-mailing law.library@bodley.ox.ac.uk or by posting a comment to this blog entry.
