I am delighted to announce that we now have a subscription to Integrum, a collection of Russian and CIS databases including newspapers, journals and information agency archives, media information, official publications and legislation.   Russian texts are translated online into English.

To use Integrum please follow links from the Law Library’s list of legal databases or Oxlip as usual. Then choose English (or Russian) interface as appropriate and click “Enter (no registration)”.

Once you are connected you are free to explore the services on offer.  “Artefact” which is the first database listed takes you to the main search interface and from here you can limit your search to particular databases and/or subjects (e.g. law, newspapers, financials news etc) using the tick boxes.

Be careful to pay attention to the date restriction boxes underneath the main search box. These are set by default to cover only the last week which can lead to some very confusing results! To search the whole database choose “all dates”.

For more information on searching please see the instruction manual (in Powerpoint format).

Happy searching!
