New e-books!
We are pleased to announce that the Sainsbury Library now has trial access to over 100,000 new e-books from EBSCO. This temporary access provided by the Bodleian-wide trial runs until 18th May and includes books from Harvard University Press, MIT Press and many others. These new e-books can be found on SOLO, the library catalogue, until 18th May and have been highlighted in reading lists where they are available to give quick and easy access to the texts.
There are no restrictions on the number of readers who can access each e-book at any one time and they can also be accessed remotely as well as downloaded to read offline. To access these e-books remotely readers just need to sign in with their SSO as usual. To download the e-books readers need to set up a personal account with EBSCO which allows for 1 day downloads of up to 5 books at a time.
We hope you enjoy using this fantastic new resource and would welcome feedback on whether you found them useful. All feedback on the e-book trial should be sent to hilla.wait@bodleian.ox.ac.uk and will be used to help decide whether the Bodleian Libraries will subscribe to this package in 2013-14.
