We are pleased to announce the arrival of new computers in the Sainsbury Library. The School IT team have installed new Windows 7 PCs in the upper and lower reading rooms. These new PCs replace the Windows XP PCs that had been in the library until recently, and can be distinguished by their widescreen displays.
Also for the first time, we can now offer our readers Macs to use in the Library. There are Apple iMacs in both the reading rooms, and they have the same functionality as the Windows PCs (apart from Thomson One which still requires Windows/Internet Explorer).
The new computers are much faster than the previous models and will offer an improved experience accessing online Business Resources. Should you have any issues or questions about the new computers, please do contact John Pilbeam, the Library’s Web/Digital Officer.
