Library opening hours during Easter break

Our library will be unstaffed from 18th April (Friday) until 21st April (Monday). Staff will be back on the 22nd April. SBS students can use the library during unstaffed hours as long as the building is open.

The building will be open as normal throughout the Easter weekend.  However, we will operate weekend access on the Friday and Monday Bank Holidays. Access to the Library will not be permitted by non SBS students.

Please, get in touch if you have any questions. Enjoy your break and don’t forget to eat a lot of chocolate eggs! 🙂

WANTED: 40 STUDENTS SITTING AT TABLES TOMORROW

We will shortly be attempting to deal with the problem of electrical cord mayhem, by installing plug-ins to the underside of each of the round tables on the library’s lower floor. This will involve us finding the optimal placement of the round tables, to align them in a more or less fixed place.

To get the best effect for your comfort we would like 40 of you to come and sit at the round tables and tell us if you are happy with how they are placed.

Please help us out!

TOMORROW: FRIDAY APRIL 11TH AT 11AM

It shouldn’t take more than 15 minutes or so if we get the numbers we need. There might even be something in it for you, over and above a feel-good factor… 🙂

Book retrievals and delivery service from the BSF during the Easter Bank Holidays

The Book Storage Facility will be closed from Friday 18th to Monday 21st April (inclusive). The BSF will open again at 7am on Tuesday 22nd April.

We would like to let you know that requests received by 10.30am on Thursday 17th April will be delivered to the libraries that afternoon. Requests received after 10.30 am that day will be despatched from the BSF on Tuesday 22nd April.
