You may have noticed some out of order signs around the library this week. A section of the electricity circuit in the Lower Reading Room has developed a serious fault and now must remain off until it can be made safe. This means that many of the PCs, lamps and plug sockets are not working in the Lower Reading Room. SBS Estates are working on this but it may be a few weeks before the fault can be repaired.

In the meantime, we have moved two of the Bloomberg terminals to other desks in the Lower Reading Room so that this database is still available to you. There are also PCs, Macs and Docking stations still available in the Upper Reading Room. If you are using your own laptop, please be aware that you will not be able to charge it at every desk in the Lower Reading Room.
