Hello from the Bodleian Health Care Libraries! We’re back with another installment of new books for you to explore.
In May we showcased new books on nursing and midwifery and in June we shared new acquisitions on LGBTQ+ health. This month we’re highlighting the diversity of our acquisitions, with two timely new books on climate change (Climate Change and Public Health and Turning the World Upside Down Again), as well as titles on evidence-based medicine, research methods, palliative care, neonatal care, sleep medicine, health and wellbeing and a two volume set on heart disease.
New books – July 2026
As always, you’ll find these books on display in the Cairns Library book room at the John Radcliffe Hospital for library members to browse or borrow during staffed hours.
Some of these titles are also available at other libraries, including the Old Road Campus Library, Horton Hospital Library, Girdlestone Memorial Library at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre and the RSL.
Click on the images below to be taken to the item’s SOLO record for more information about availability. You will also find a digital list of these books on the library’s NHS LibGuide.
If you have a contract with the OUH Trust you are eligible to join the Bodleian Health Care Libraries for free. If you are a member of the University of Oxford you can access the library using your University card.
