Act on Acceptance (2)

On 1st April 2016 HEFCE’s policy for open access in the next REF takes effect.

Oxford’s message to its researchers is Act on Acceptance: deposit all your newly-accepted journals and conference papers into our repository ORA within three months of acceptance.

So you can find out more, the Bodleian Social Science Library is pleased to provide two briefing and Q&A opportunities for authors who were unable to attend their departmental briefing or have further queries.

The sessions are free and there is no need to book. Topics will include:

  • HEFCE’s Act on Acceptance policy;
  • Depositing papers in the Oxford Research Archive (ORA) using Symplectic Elements
  • Where to go for non-commercial help and advice

Both sessions will be held in Seminar Room G, Manor Road Building:

  • Wednesday 9 March, 3-4pm
  • Tuesday 15 March, 11-12 noon.
